Creative Chaos Co is born!

In 2025, Creative Chaos Co was born out of the want to shout about ADHD as a positive rather than a negative.


I had always known I worked entirely differently to anyone else and that was all fine, and I never thought about ADHD as a diagnosis, until I got to my 50's and then my brain went haywire completely through changes in hormone levels.


I suddenly became unable to hold a moments thought, definitely could not hold a meaningful conversation for more than 10 seconds, and my impulsiveness hit new record highs! My relationships started fracturing and that's when I knew I needed to reach out.


Having a psychologist in my close family set me about the journey to explore ADHD and once diagnosed (it took over 3 years to find people I trusted for my long-term care) I started to understand myself so much more and the journey began to make the most of my positives and stop beating myself up over those moments when, despite trying everything, my ADHD impulsiveness literally couldn't be stopped.


Now over 2 years later and I realise that throughout my life, my work success and creativity has been because of my ADHD. My brain thinks in ways others can't (unless you are one of our amazing Creative Chaos Co ADHD fab fellows that is), it finds gaps and opportunities, it sees things in a different way, leading to really creative businesses and an ever-unfolding sea of opportunities, which is where my Captain Spark and Intuita superpowers come in.


For me, I always feel brave, and I think that's because I don't think of anything for longer than 5 minutes, I just set about doing it. Isn't that a superpower in itself?


I have had big knock backs in my life but I bounced back, so I have the Comeback Kid superpower in me for sure!


Whenever I meet fellow my ADHD amazing ones, what I notice is we are all bouncy! The ones I have met at least! We all have this amazing energy that is ready to be fed into something powerful and positive.


So how about we all start being positive about ourselves? 


Our clothing represents our bravery and how proud we are to have our superpowers. Creative Chaos Co reflects that we are a collective. A creative collective coming together to make happy memories and thoughts and help change perceptions.


Can you imagine how many conversations are going to be started over "Why are you wearing a Captain Spark" hoodie? Or, "What does that Zoomie on your chest mean?"

We will have so many meaningful, fun and perception-changing chats.


I got asked during my diagnosis process from someone very close to me, "Why do you want there to be something wrong with you" and that's stuck with me. This is the sort of mindset I think we need to try and change, but of course that will take time, positivity, and grace on our side to educate and inform and hold hands as we try and bring people into understanding our view of the world.


We are amazing.

Our ADHD makes us even more special.

The picture above is just a random picture I wanted to include of Marbles our office dog (on the left with Lorri) and Dave with Kerrie on the right (Dave, what a cool dog name!) who was rescued from an animal testing laboratory and now living his best life, and Nahla, Dave's girlfriend taking centre stage in the middle. This is them meeting Santa last year at Ross & Friends.


Animals can be so powerful, as well as being in nature, in helping us work with our ADHD impulses and tendencies and we will be having summer animal therapy days at our local sanctuary The Farm Animal Sanctuary and inviting you along!
